In 2021, BMW was confronted with the challenge of launching its latest vision vehicle at IAA Mobility. However, the Covid-19 pandemic forced significant changes, necessitating innovative solutions to achieve their objectives. Instead of canceling the event, BMW opted to fully embrace digital transformation by creating a unique, immersive virtual world called Joytopia. This solution allowed global audiences to participate in the event, removing geographical and physical barriers, and underscored the companyβs commitment to innovation and sustainability.
